He promise you a ring but still sees another girl? Are you really Ok with that?

I think that you deserve much more than that, and you'll be also surprised to find out that you won't collapse if you leave him. It might be hard though, but certainly worth it. You must keep in mind that he isn't 100% yours.

I received a promise ring as well 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I sometimes wonder if he is committed or maybe it isn't right. I won't jump into it .. just some things make me wonder and after having a HORRIBLE relationship that had no trust.. this is a tough one for me. I just wonder if he takes a promise ring as seriously as I do. I honestly thought he was sending me a necklace.. didn't know what to say when I opened the box and saw a ring. Personally if I knew my guy had another one.. I would dump him in a heartbeat. there would be no 2nd chance. I would not do that to him and expect him to treat me with same respect. I know easier said then done but you deserve better.

thanks so much for your advice and Hopefully your guy does understand what a promise ring stands for. I think my guy had good intentions but could not follow through. SInce I wrote my question i have separated from him and I am just concentrating on my life. In that short time i have realized I do deserve better as I did devote myself to this relationship now I am devoting myself to me :)

Just remember not all guys are the same and maybe your guy does have it right...
