I think you should be grateful for the situation you are in. Try talking to him about it but please do it when ever he is tired , don't do it right before you know he is going to initiate something. Try talking to him whenever you both are out of bed that way he won't get too disappointed.
He needs to learn that you aren't his sex doll and that it takes two to tango. There isn't any way around it since this is a basic issue in any ralationship in which one side wants more sex than the other. You need to be sensitive but also explain your position.
It's important to know how to compromise in a relationship and that's exactly what your boyfriend will need to do.
