No.  I don't think that polygamy is acceptable anywhere, in our modern world.  It is degrading to women, brain-washing, and destructive to families.  Just look at the fundamentalist Mormons in Utah who do practice polygamy... from this they start to think rape is OK, they begin to think that 50 year old men having sex with 14 year old girls is OK, and many other disturbing things.  In short, I think that it's a terrible thing and there's a reason why this was stopped in most parts of the world a long time ago.

I disagree. I think it's a legitimate way of living one's life just as any other way is. With that being said what we see in many countries where polygamy is allowed is wrong. The way women are treated in these countries is outrageous and that's what needs to change.

I don't think it's ok. I think it's wrong to expect a woman to accept that a man can have multiple wives. I think for polygamy to be ok, it'd have to be ok for a woman to have multiple husbands, the same way it's ok for men to have multiple wives.
