Hi Kris,

     You are too young at 17 to try to find out if this boy is the right one for you.  Do not make any decisions in a hurry.  You might regret it.

   At this point in life, don't you think you should just enjoy being with friends rather than dating exclusively?  Give yourself time to mature mentally and emotionally.  The decisions you are making now will be 200 percent different from the ones you will make when you are 25 years old.

    So there is no need to get so serious with this boyfriend, try to concentrate on your studies and education so that you will grow up to be

successful career woman who your parents will be proud of.

You will know that "he's the one," when your education is completed, when you have become a YOUNG WOMAN (instead of a teenager), one who is self-assured and passionate about her life, the things important to her, and about the man she's with.  When all of that converges, you will never again need to ask "Is he the one?"  You will KNOW.

Even if u guys arent talking that much it doesnt mean he doesnt love u but personally i think if ur having doubts about ur relationship u need to take a break from the dating scene and hang out with friends. U need to discover ur goals, ur values, and what love really is before u start dating someone. Best of luck..
