When was the last time you told some I LOVE YOU (and it was the gods honest truth and there was no ulterior motive ;-)

We are now all alone now that our children are out of the house. Last night, during supper, I looked at my beautiful wife and said, "I love you." It was not the first time and I really enjoy telling her. From her smile and kiss I know that she loved hearing it.

Despite the distance between us I find that we have much in common. Rock's response is so similar to mine. I am a bit older and also have a better perspective on my life so that I am more appreciative of my wife, how we worked together and helped each other through good times and more difficult ones. Now it is so easy for me to tell how how much I love her how nice to hear her respond in kind. We have really been blessed.

Trust no one and Respect is earned not given!!!!

I just went threw some of the answers U have recieved... It amazes me that people do not say it everyday!! Why not???!!! All my childeren are grown up now the youngest is soon o be 20.. But everytime I talk to them...even if it is 5 times that day we always say I LOVE U... I made sure that they grew up hearing that everday... Even when we are arguing over something we say I LOVE U ...I have told my kid's that no matter how upset Iam with them and disagree with what they are doing ..They will always be welcomed into my home and to know and understand that

I will always Love them no matter what...that my home is their safe spot in this world...Now for my husband we to say it everytime we part even if it is just up to the store real quick!! Love is a hard thing to find these day's...To many people go with out hearing those wonderful word's "I LOVE U " But as long as Im around my family will know that I LOVE THEM!!! So go ahead and say it as often as U want!!!!

Here here! I completely agree, but i also think that sometimes using the word flippantly can cause a loss of its true meaning. It just becomes another word, but in reality it means so much more. So yes i do believe it would be nice to hear it more but only if it is really meant
