I think you can feel love develop in a relationship.  Usually when one begins to love the other, the same is happening the other way around.  When you see sparks, when you get that crazy feeling in your stomach, when you can't think of other words to say and just want to say "I love you!"... I think that you can tell in the way one treats you, as well.  If you don't feel loved, then I'd say that he either has a problem showing it or that he doesn't love you.  Use your intuition and you will know.

You can feel it in his touch and see it in his eyes.

When I young , If the guy kissed me with his eyes open I knew he wasn't that interested. Today I think finding a main sign very difficult. I think your gut feeling is the leading one.

When he is acting strange, constantly bothering you about your relationship, doing STUPID things for you. You will see him acting weird, avoiding telling you how he feels. We men are strange birds!! to say the least. until we can't handle our emotions anymore, then and only then will the actual words "I LOVE YOU" come out of our mouths with an almost embaresed statement.

• His touch will be softer, gentler, more of a caress.
• He will go out of his way to do things just to see you smile.
• He will wait 2 years to see you in person.
• He will say "I love you" in a soft, gentle, loving voice, while smiling that gentle smile that makes his eyes glow.
• Instead of using his money to buy video games, he'll buy you a little teddy bear for your birthday that he knows you'll love, even when you told him you don't want anything.
• He will buy you another little teddy bear for Christmas that's holding a heart pillow that says "Girlfriend" on it, and he'll kiss the heart before packaging it up and sending it to you.
• He'll risk getting caught texting in class because you're far away from home on a band trip and you text him saying "I miss you."
• He'll tell you you're beautiful...And he'll mean it.
• He will rack up a huge international call phone bill just to hear your voice.

Most importantly...

He will wait for you no matter what happens.

you'll feel it when he holds you you'll feel so safe . when your sick he'll take care of you . he'll always try and make you happy. he'll put you and your needs before his friends. he'll call you for no reason other than just to hear your voice; and no matter what you look like even on your worst day he'll tell you your beautiful. most importantly he'll stick by your side no matter what drama life brings you...... remember it's easy to love someone when times are good and in life you never know what will happen but you'll know he loves you when times get hard and he's right by your side.
