I want to lose weight, but I have neck, shoulder & back medical problems. What can I do to work out w/o hurting my self?

I would say that your best bet is to change your eating habits and to take long walks. Just try to keep active without straining yourself too much. Making the slightest change to your diet can make a big difference in the long run as well. Cut your portions down without "dieting". Eat what you want but in smaller portions and eat slower so that you are satisfied sooner. You will see results very soon. Good luck.

I would try yoga maybe , or some kind of hydrotherapy if you have some major problems. You can also try Pilates , you should accompany all kind of workouts with a healthy diet.

In your position, I would consult a doctor before starting any exercise program - they may be able to help you come up with an exercise program that will work for you.

An important part of sustainable weight loss is eating sensibly - you could start by examining your diet and trying to choose lower fat / sugar foods or reduce your intake of more unhealthy foods.

There are lots of exercises you can do in your chair that involve lifting / extending your legs / arms, etc - anything you can do that means you are moving around more is a good start, but if you are concerned then it is best to speak to your doctor.

Weight loss is 70% diet and the rest is exercise.Just changing your eating habits by incorporating whole foods,eating at least four well balanced meals a day with lost of fruits and vegetables,staying away from fast and fried food,drinking lots of water and if you must drink soda drink diet soda(I stopped drinking soda period and the pounds started to come off),will contribute to your weight loss greatly.Since you are hurt use a recumbent bike and walk to get in some exercise.
