How to lose belly fat fast?

Who has some excellent tips / exercises on how to lose belly fat fast?

Believe it or not I have a very short (very very short) part in a movie that requires my bare midriff! What types of exercises should I do to get rid of my belly and replace it with a sculpted six pack - hey optimism is important.

Thanks.

A misconception (helped by a multi-billion dollar weight loss industry) is that it's possible to reduce fat in a targeted part of the body, especially the part where fat is most attracted - the belly. To lose belly fat you need an all round exercise routine that lowers fat levels throughout the body.

You need to eat healthier (more vegetables and fruit), more often (don't starve yourself) but smaller portions.

Drink more water and reduce sugar intake (sodas, milkshakes, cookies etc.) and eat more fiber.

Exercise cleverly - crunches might work your ab muscles (if done correctly, if not they can actually cause stomach bulge) but the exercise doesn't actually burn enough calories to lose a significant amount of belly fat (even if you did thousands daily).

You need full body workouts (like swimming) that burn the most calories and kick start your metabolism.

For someone who really knows how to lose belly fat I suggest you visit  truth about abs and flat stomachs   it's the top abs program on the internet.

Exercise has many advantages and once you get into a routine you will find a reduction in your stress levels and you will sleep better - good for your metabolism and general well being.

Good luck for the Oscar Laughing

Do leg lifts.
Lie on the floor with your legs straight out, hands at your sides and lift your legs straight up (no bending of the knees). Lower your legs without letting them touch the floor and repeat.

If it's too difficult at first or you have lower back problems then you can bend the knees. If it's too easy put a weight between your feet.

Eat more fiber like whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds.

Eat Breakfast or your metabolism will slow down - your body ain't dumb, it starts to realize it's not going to get fed.

Drink lots of water, the more the better. You can even mix it with green tea (if you can stomach it) and a little bit of honey to boost your "metabolism".

Cheers

Getting rid of belly fat can often be one of the hardest things to do. Diets, exercise, no matter what is done it stubbornly refuses to go away. Belly fat can be hard to lose because it is the primary storage area for adipose tissue and is one of the last places that the body will give up its fat stores.

You can lose belly fat fast with A high metabolism diet.

Many teaching hospitals like U of Michigan and U of Iowa have a high metabolism diet for four days a week and then eat what you want the other three. I did a St Johns of New York diet and went fron 199 to 150 in 4 months.

Also should drink 8 glasses of water every day and don't eat anything for five hours before bed.

Crunches only work the top of your abs, and sit ups work all of your abs, but you have to do LOTS otherwise it doesn't really work .

Good ab exercises to lose belly fat fast are:

V Ups (Touch your feet to your hands, so only your bottom is on the ground)

Russian Twists (turning your whole abdomen in this)- sitting on your bottom and moving your hands to each side of you with feet up

Planks for 2 minutes

Bicycles - Touch opposite knee to opposite elbow while on your back

Row Boats - on your bum and bring your chest to your knees, then back out again

Leg Lifts

Try 10 of each 3 times.

Of course eat healthy, drink lots of water, and stretching really helps.

Hey there :)

Honestly, I can tell you from experience that the best way to lose weight (which is the way you will see that 6-pack- there is no such thing as spot reduction!) and actually keep it off long-term is to come up with an exercise routine that you actually enjoy and will consequently stick to.  Check out this article for some tips:

Good luck!

Hi roby,

Cut out all white floor foods, i.e. pasta, etc. Drink a glass of lemon water first thing in the morning before anything else goes in your mouth. Take 'Woo Soo' showers everyday. That is warm to cool and then hot to cold and then hot as you can stand it to cold as you can stand it.

These things serve to greatly increase your metabolism and improve you digestion. One last thing. Chew your food slowly and completely before you swallow. You will be surprised by the results... Love and Light... Gary
