I am single mom. I recently met a great guy and ...

I am single mom. I recently met a great guy and have been very honest about what I want and don't want and he has done the same. We both decided that we didn't want a relationship with anyone because we both came out of long term relationships. We decided to be friends. I know he is unsure about my son and has yet to meet him because he has to be in my life 6 months before you get to meet my son. We have an amazing time together and know just what the other one is thinking or going to say. We have an amazing connection. When he came to stay over last night after 3 weeks of being apart because the last time we saw each other, he asked for some space. We continued to talk over txt and IMs. Last night he was so touchy feely and that's not really abnormal but more than usual. When he left this morning he kissed me for a long time and then left. We usually just cuddle and kiss on occasion. I am not sure what to make of his behavior. Am I reading in to it to much? The point is...I don't know if I like him more than friends now because I worked through my feelings when we were apart for the three weeks. He is a really great guy...I don't want to hurt him...What do I do?

Hi,
It's clear that he wants more than friends..... and I have this gut feeling that you (well, slowly slowly, and you don't admit it yet) want it too..... so give it a real try. It's great that you are open, one to the other, and it would be an excellent idea to think about all he obstacles you'll surely face and decide (in advance !) what your approach will be. However, if you decide that you don't want to go that far (but remain friends) better tell it to him, loud and clear (well, you'll have to be smart and sensetive) and you'll have to set the limits. An open person will always appreciate openess and truth.... Personally (based on my intuition) I would advice you to consider the 1st option, man like him are scarce.....
