How long after having sex can i tell if i might be pregnant?

I have had two spontanius miscarriage both happen in the same year, my doctor suggested to wait 6-9 months its been 16 months,im not using protection, neith is my partner. I got my period on april 1st one week after that we had relations, and now i think i might be pregnant, its now april 22nd, my breast are very tender and sore, could i be pregnant?

I'm sorry for your losses.

I think three weeks after sex is a little early. The best sign is when your period is late, if it's regular.

If you still didn't get your period take a home pregnancy test, and if it is positive, you might try a blood test as they are more conclusive.
