HI, I have lost my job and having a hard time ...

HI, I have lost my job and having a hard time paying bills, my credit score is still above 600 because my mom been helping me pay min. balance. I do have a car that i was thinking of just not paying for it anymore and letting it get re-po... Wil I get sued for the difference of the money once they sell it? what are my other options- I need to get out of my car badly ?

Paige,  Don't do that.  Yes, you will get sued for the difference, plus their fees, plus court costs.  You will still owe a lot of money, and have to pay it.  Then you will have a very bad mark on your credit record.  Why not just try to sell the car?  You can sell it even if you still owe on it.  Ask your finance company how this is done properly.  Best of luck to you.
