What does it mean when a business does a write off?
Love is the battery of life....
It reffers in most cases to debts that it's clear that the person who owes it can't pay the dept and has no peoperty to get hold (to pay that dept). So insread of keeping the dept it's better to write it off (to erase / delete it).
