A little embarrassed

Hello, I am a little embarrassed to ask this, But hopefully some one has experienced this. A few weeks ago while my husband and I were having sex I experienced a painfull orgasm. I thought it was just a one time thing, but this has occured 3 times since. The act itself is not painfull only the contractions that accompany the orgasm. I have never had anything like this happen before, and am wondering if it is a great concern. I will give it a few more weeks, if it dosn't stop I will see my doctor. Any one else out there had this happen? Any information would be helpfull.

i am not sure. i have never experienced it before. but it would be a good idea to go ahead and see your doctor. it could be as little as a urinary tract or bladder infection. maybe kidney infection. i am not for sure. maybe a yeast infection.

Hi,

The semen contains the so called prostaglandins which causes some crampy feelings. That's why when someone is pregnant, semen causes preterm labor or labor. I worked in Labor and Delivery as a Registered Nurse. A lot of pregnant come in to be checked because they were cramping. When asked if they had sex a few hours ago, the answer was yes.

In your case, I don't think there is anything to worry. But if in doubt, see your Obstetrician.
