Yedda is a great place to share it.

A good idea is to go to your local Venture Capital association. Almost every state or country has one.

Here is a quick list of the most known ones:

in Wikipedia

a link to the American association of VCs

A directory of VCs here too:

and one of the journals in the space.

There is no free list of VC investments I'm aware of. If you are interested in Israeli VCs and investments, check www.ivc-online.com, a database of VCs and start-ups, all of Israeli origin. You can produce a list by your criteria using their search engine. The problem is that it costs money... they offer a trial, however.

If you are more interested in the VCs general investing criteria (i.e do they invest more, or at all, in a specific technology sector), then IVC publishes every year the list of the Israeli VCs with the most investments (and this inlcudes the investment list) - this can give you a fairly good idea of their criteria. The list is ususally avaliable sometime in Q1 of each year, and I believe it can be downloaded for free from IVC.

Visiting the VCs websites is also a good way of getting to know their criteria and investment style (look at the "news" section for a list of latest investments).

Good luck.

Google is your best bet. But if you're idea is in the area of tech enabled media services - try Arts Alliance in London.

IVC is indeed a good place to look but it is Israel focused, if you want to find international information I suggest

Venture Source which covers the US, Israel, China and Europe. You do have to pay for information but sometimes companies have subscriptions and can help you with the basic information for free.

You should also have a look at http://venturebeat.com which is a great resource for VC's by invested company (http://venturebeat.com/companies) or by key people (http://venturebeat.com/people)

Hope this helps.
