There are lots of tutorials which seems to be quite good in the Red5 help section located here.
There is even an example of streaming using FFMpeg through Red5.
The Red5 forum also seems quite active and I'm sure you'll be able to find more information there.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
