How to make links sent through MSN Messenger open in Firefox?

I'm using Firefox on several computers (my home computer, my laptop and my office computer). On all three computers I use MSN Live Messenger as well. When I click on links sent to my laptop or my office computer via the messenger, they open in a new Firefox tab (as they should). However, on my home computer, they open in a new Internet Explorer window (even though my default browser is Firefox). What can I do?

Wierd... If firefox is your default there should be such problem. How about double checking it? -  Tools--> Options --> Check Now , and then restarting both firefox and MSN messenger...

Just a quick update to this question. With the new Windows Live Messenger 2009 you no longer need any additional programs or plugins to open the live links in the default browser. This has been fixed in Messenger and it will work correctly, so the solution is to upgrade to Windows Live Messenger 2009 and use it. It's much better than the old MSN Messenger.

Hope this helps.
