I'm one of the unfortunate ones that don't have enough to be spending on lingerie, but I can tell you one thing: We buy expencive stuff cause it's nice, we can look or feel better wearing it. Sometimes it's just for us, sometimes it's for our partners. But why do we need this stuff? Because it's mentality grown and nurtured through culture and media: The whole perfect woman look that is so opressive this days. And one other thing: Did you notice that men's new haircut is usually cheaper than woman getting her hair done by professional? Why? Because they can trick women more easily than man to pay an outrageous price for someting that improves someones apperance... and now we're back at The Perfect Woman Sindrom (which is 1st about looks and 2nd about inteligence).

We ladies spend lots of money on lingerie because it makes us feel sexy and appealing and helps boost our self-esteem. Sexy Lingerie helps a woman to look and feel her best. When she looks great, she feels confident and powerful. HOWEVER, lingerie does not have to be so expensive to be good quality. Look into discount lingerie and you might be able to get that same confidence at an affordable price.

Lingerie does make a woman feel more attractive. There are several less costly stores that carry some great items. However, during conversations I have had with those of the opposite gender, it is interesting to know that most men consider short shorts and a T shirt more sexier.
