Should the Federal government put a lid on the amount of money any candidate could spend on presidential primaries to enable a wider choice of candidates for the voter?

hmm,i think that the government should make those candidates use the money for campaigns that would help people!

Imagine if they spent that money making houses for the victims of Katrina?or schools?maybe,help an orphanage?

What a better world we would be living in!!
