There is no known cure for pedophilia.  Don't take my word for it, ask any expert.  Even when they wire them up and shock the you know what out of them when they look at images of children in various states of undress, they eventually get out of the facility or institution and harm another child.  That is basic behaviorial theory.  If that doesn't work, nothing does.  That would include so called counseling and seeking professional help which everyone seems to think is the be all and end all.  Anti-freeze will, though.

Actually there is a "Cure" of sorts, and it's called: "Self-control." Each of us has to display a certain amount of self-control on a daily basis, like when we say to somebody: "I'm going to kill you!" If we didn't have self-control, we'd all be guilty of murder or other crimes. Electro-Shock Therapy isn't good for man or beast, and will not change an out-of-control pedophile. No, the pedophile has to make a conscious decision that he (or she) will never commit the same criminal acts ever again. It is only that way can they live among society, but they may never be around children or the helpless ever again or they're likely to re-offend.
