Why cant light colors of clothes look good on a dark skin person?

why cant people with dark skin, but not so dark, cant wear light colors of clothes like light pink?

I'm the type of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday.

I'm not sure who told you dark skin people cannot wear light clothing. Take Rihanna for example. She can definitely pull off this outfit.

Why no color payoff with MAC shadows?
