Part of life!

I think that it is accepted... it's just that people don't want to hear about it.  Masturbation is a personal thing and asking questions about the best way to masturbate, or anything of the sort feels uncomfortable to many.

It may go back to a society that was more religious than the world is now.  In the Bible you are not supposed to spill your seed on the ground.  In modern days it is a little more information than most people want.  I think it's similar to a black person that says "I'm black" , or a gay person who declares "I',m gay".  Sitting around the lunch table and listening to someone announcing that they masterbated the evening before just isn't something I want to hear.  In other words, I really don't care, so keep it to yoursef.

"Playing with yourself" is modern mothers' admonishment because it reveals an awkward reminder of what we all do in learning to grow up.  It's another example of mankind trying to suppress mother nature's compulsions: sex will NOT be suppressed!!  Whether or not masturbating can fit into an illusionary concept of "proper" society is debatable.  What we think always seems more important than what we do.  Worse than that, what we FEEL takes over in most cases . . . even when our logical minds object.  Back again to SHAMEFUL MANKIND . . . blah blah . . . leading to the commie-liberals' determination that man doesn't belong on earth.  Well: except themselves!  And a horn of plenty.  And a few slaves to wash the sheets.  Chow.
