Something I find very annoying. Ever notice that Letterman says, "Here in New York City...." several times during his monolog? Is he in love with nyc or does he have a deal with the city?

Nothing wrong with that. It just gets me that he keeps using that phrase. Do most of his jokes have to be about NYC? Is he being paid by the city to advertise?
