Well 7th IUI failed. Had a laporoscopy and now talking about injections of Menopur. Would have to give myself a shot every day for 10 days. Has anyone done this? Also, has anyone heard of a hcg injection which is given after the menopur and will make you ovulate in 24 hours?

I'm not a doctor, but 10 days of Menopur sounds a little long... Make sure you are monitored carefully. In my experience it was usually about 7 days and yes, I gave myself the injections.
About hCG; Yes, it is often given as a trigger shot. It makes you ovulate in 36 hours. I think you can look up ovidrel and you'll find the information about it.

Hi, I'm actually schedule for a IUI tommorow morning and was givin HCG yesterday late afternoon... This willl assit you to ovulate and leve your window of opprunity open for 36-48 hours. Its a painfulless shot and your partner can do it for you.
