Hello, well it is a law that most county will not a hire a person with a felony or on parole. But sometime it depends on what the case is.Sometime some jobs will see what the issue was and if it wasn't about theft they will hire a person.I know a few jobs in the city that have took a person even after they knew that the peeson was a felony or on parole.Just because a person has done time or facing time that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be able to work. Some of the time this is what the people need so they won't get into trouble. The law should be changed.Give these people a job.You got a lot of people working and they don't even live in that town but they work there.I which the law could be fixed another way for people to get help when needed.Temp jobs should hire felony and parole people so they can work themselves up to be a a hired person. They should be given 1 year at temp site and if they have proven themselves to be a good worker they should get hired thur that  company. They should be drug tested as needed and treated like the other workers as well.If this law could go into affect I would vote yes to felony and parole.Well I hope that this was some of what you were looking for. Please give me some feedback on this issue.Take care and hope you find what you are looking for.

It is legal for employment to be denied, but not necessary.  many convicted felons are hired, even if there felony has not been expunged.  A number of factors may be influential in employment decisions, such as the length of time since the felony, the type of felony, and the position of employment sought.

Your direction, not your intention, determines your destination

Yes, you can be turned down because you are a felon. Your credit report can also determine your getting a job or not these days.Your state and federal government jobs are also some that go by your character or what is considered your trust factors.May not seem right to some, but there are enough people who are already robbing us blind in government positions today, so smaller peon jobs are screened pretty good.
