What is legal impact of heavy rain on an auto / motorcycle accident in North Carolin? i.e. is it a legal defense to a claim that the accident was due to sudden heavy rain and car in front hydroplaned causing motorcycle behind car to stop and then motorcycle is struck by a car from behind

unfortunately you must remain in full control of your vehicle at all times!! if it was raining that hard you should pull of and wait untill it clears a little.. sorry but thats the way the judge will see it
