Is it legal for a child of sixteen years old to w ork for a moving company and be on the road for upto four to five days with the moving company. Would love the legal info on this question. I know the mom of this sixteen year old kid, and she tells me that it is legal for this kid to be working at this company. The child comes back all brused up and looking like he had no good sleep. But she gets two hundred dollars everytime he gets paid and that's all she cares.

It doesn't really matter if it is legal or not but this case should be reported to the authorities. A boy of 16 has not fully developed his skeletal and muscular structure so heavy physical work would probably cause severe damage to his body. In addition, his sleeping arrangements should be checked to ensure they too are not detrimental to his health.
