in april 2008 I had purchesed a garnett japanese maple tree to be the center peice of my garden. When I purchased the tree it was approx 4ft tall and also 4 ft wide. It was a beautiful red color.the red was very dark. Well I planted the tree in the middle of my garden where the tree could get sufficient light. Tree gets approx 6-7 hrs of light per day I water the plant just about every day. The location looked to be perfect for the tree. A few weeks after planting the tree started droping all its leaves. It dropped every bright red leave. The leaves are now green withe a little red around the edges. Is this good. Is there something wrong with the tree or are the conditions not correct soil, light, water. The nusury where I purchesed the tree said there was nothing wrong with the tree it's in shock and it takes time for the tree to adapt to the soil conditions. Is this true.
