This depends upon the topic of the workshop you are planning on attending. Some workshops offer an introduction of sorts where they give you a quick sample of what you may need. These tend to be "teazers" of what other workshops you can be sold on. Outline what you are looking for in your business ie marketing, accounting, selling, management, etc. Then outline which topics within each group you need or find of interest ie selling - closing skillings, marketing - ad design.
Otherwise you will end up going to lots of workshops and spending a lot of money that you may need for other parts of your business.
