Having been a landlord for at least three decades I assure you your landlord or anyone else does not have any right to enter your apartment without your permission. It is a myth if your landlord gives you 24 hours notice to enter your home he has some kind of right to do so in spite of your wishes. He only has a right to enter your apartment without notice if their is dire emergency, the place has a flood in it maybe, et. He does have a reasonable right to inspect your apartment after giving you due notice or as stated in your rental agreement with your permission. Your failure to give permission may be grounds to terminate your rental agreement of course.
