When you begin to learn Japanese, it is easy to pronounce and get to a certain level of proficiency, but it can become very complicated as you learn more. Chinese on the other hand, is more difficult to pronounce, more difficult to attain the basic level of proficiency; especially reading and writing. However, Chinese is closer to that of English. For learners, Chinese would be easier. What’s more is that, Chinese will be more important in the future. I believe that will be helpful to your career and your life.
