They told me you need a certain amount of fresh blood so the HIV can be transmitted so i cant get HIV from old dry needle is that true?

No. You need a moist environment for the virus to live. Once dried the virus dies. The only way HIV can be transmitted is in bodily fluids. But not salivia, because of the acid produced in our saliva it kills the virus and anything that passes through the digestive track as well.
