Make homemade playdough with a salt dough recipe and let them create things. Make a hand print to keep, or ornaments to give as gifts for christmas, beads to string for jewelry, etc. You can color the dough or paint afterwards. Write stories, share favorite things, coloring books, birdhouse kits, teach them to cook, make up dances, excercise games, play Simon says, Mother may I?, read books and write about or discuss them, play math games,... the list goes on.
Just let them use their imagination to keep them creative, keep them learning, and make sure they have some form of physical activity.
I hope this helped. Good luck and enjoy your summer.
