Should I kick my husband out and divorce him?

Should I kick my husband out and get a divorce?

I'm bi-polar, and when I'm manic I make some irrational choices. Last year, I met a guy in Las Vegas whilst on a vacation and married him after knowing him for 5 days. I'm an American and he's British. Well, that was in May of 08 and on New Year's Eve (12-31-08) I found out that he had been writing an ex girlfriend. Not really an ex,  but this lady he met while traveling in South Africa. Back story on that is, he was at a gym in SA in 99 and met this lady almost 10 years his senior. She invited him to live with her and have sex for three weeks. He did. I found out that he was writing her emails while I was in bed sleeping (3am 4am). He was sneaking around. We had a huge fight about it, but we reconciled and he promised that it meant nothing and she was in SA so he would never see her anyways. He also promised to never contact her again.
However, I was checking his e-mail for responses on an advert we put online to rent a room and saw another email from her. She's going to be visiting the state where we live. She requested that he drive 3 hours each way for a "cup of coffee". I told him "no way". I think it's totally inappropriate. He started calling me a ball and chain, his jailer, and saying things like he wish he never got married because I won't let him drive my car and spend gas money we don't have to see this lady. Another huge argument has broken out.

Like I said, I'm bipolar, and my reaction to this is to kick him out and get a divorce. Am I going over the top with this?

Also, he got his green card a few days ago.

It sounds like you know the answer to this one. I believe you are asking this as you don't want to do it "impulsively". It sounds like you have thought it through. You do not have to tolerate this behavior and you should tell him that. Set boundaries such as a married person should follow. The part where he just got his green card sounds fishy too.

Please becareful that he is not just with you to get citizenship. From my perspective, that sounds like exactly what he is in this for. You are 100% it is very much inappropriate and disrespectful for him to be meeting up with her. I say you should definately kick him out and get a divorce if you are a strong willed women. He seems to be like nothing but a moocher. Don't let him win.

Cool Equal justice for All

The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

WELL to say it as it is he married you to become an American citizen as if i were you i woukd kick him along with his girlfriend out of your life. File for a divorce take him to the cleaners. Now get a Lawyer as you must prove this as you say run and dont look back. Allso have his C drive removed from the computor as that can be used against him in court. But by all means divorce him as you met him then without thinking you married him GET A DIVORCE AND DONT LOOK BACK Get a good Attorney.
