Only if you have been in the deepest valley, can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

Using keyboard how does does one hide a screen and return to it?

On computer What key and or keys do I prsee to convert back to desk top or any page/screen saver etc. which allows me to protect what I was working on from others. I see on tv persons researching/working on something private, and someone comes by and the researcher hits a key board button and it changes screen to basic desk top or something other then what he was reseahing and wants to protect from prying eyes. What are these keys or key that are press to do this? And what is pressed to go back to what one was working on? Thanks.

These people probably have software that lets them hit a button (or a two button combo) to hide open windows and bring them back.  There are several free programs to let you do this on Windows.  Here are a few:

There are a few different key combinations that you can use to do this.  As you mentioned, you can use the Windows & D keys.  You can also use the Windows & M key to minimize all of the open applications and then shift+windows+M to bring everything back up.
