My question is about Kaspersky Internet Security
Is Kaspersky Internet Security free?
You would have found your answer much quicker by simply typing http://Kaspersky.com in your browser instead of coming here, but the short answer is no. There's a trial version, but that will become inactive unless you pay.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised at the number of people who want free anti-virus and other internet security products. While free versions are better than nothing, the companies who provide them all have commercial (fee-based) versions. They know that their free products are handicapped or inferior in some way to the paid versions, and those who use them should realize this too.
Either you're concerned about Internet security or not. The free versions are half-way solutions. Don't expect a lot, and don't be surprised if you still experience problems.
Why not do it right, and buy a state-of-the-art commercial solution right away?

I don't think it's totally free, there's a lock in 30 day trial period for the software....

No. It has a trial version, but would expire after a few weeks. If you want Kaspersky, you'd have to buy it. But I assure you that it's worth the money. Kaspersky is a very good anti-virus. :) Online Printing Company | UPrinting.com
