If you got mad at your boss and walked out and quit how do you explain that to the person you are going to interview with for another job

Always look your best because you never know who you're going to meet.


I wouldn't suggest mentioning the way you left your last position to the person you are interviewing with. I would likely say (and I'm paraphrasing here) that I wasn't able to grow in the position and made the difficult decision to move on with my career.

I agree with Jennifer.  If the person who is interviewing you asks (do NOT volunteer the information under any circumstances), asks about your last job, just say something like Jennifer suggested that you would not be able to grow in the position or there wasn't any room for advancement with the company.

say it was a mis communication with manager, for your reason of leaving. If you wanted, you could include that you will explain if offered an interview...only put this job down if its a good job to have as a reference to show experience...if it isnt that important, dont use it
