What is the correct orientation of the binder edge in traditional Japanese books? Would the bound edge be left, right, top, or bottom?

<>Hi.  There are many ways to bind a Japanese book.  Left side binding and top side binding were used.  Perhaps upon viewing one of these methods you will find what you need.  Hopefully!
