I can't think of a better way to celebrate a Bat Mitzva than to do it in Israel. Unfortunately summers are hot and dry so the vegetation is not as green in countries where water is plentiful because of year-round rains, but there are beautiful places here. One of the phenomena here is that in this little countries you will find mountains, valleys, deserts, rich farmland and even snow on Mount Hermon. But Jerusalem takes my breath away every time I visit that beautiful city. Walking through the Old City you feel that you left the noise and motion of the modern world and have entered a magical kingdom. But do come and see for yourself.
