How could a long distance relationship works

i think its really hard to go on a long distance relationship,. but for me if i really love the person i will stay faithful and honest to him even he is far from me..i will just motivate my self that evrything has reason..and i believe there will be time that we can be together and wont be away from each other anymore..

Well, first of all your question is very vavague, not enough details...how did you meet, was at your hometown and then he had to leave for a job transfer, were you on vacation and met him while vacationing, did you work together and he was transfer, how long do you know him, how much time did you spend toghether, do you know each other at all....one needs to know some information in order to give you sound advice, eg.
