How could a long distance relationship works

uhm well by seeing them every break you have or chance you have, long relationships dontwok out, and lots of the time i dont know why people would want them to, i mean ya you can like/love that person, but if they mean THAT much move next to them and if you still live with your parents break up with them till your old enuff to move with them

Well, this is quite hard. It depends a lot on how great is the love. Some people manage to make it work realy well, and some couple also manage to make it work, but after a while, they break up. Today, it is much easier to help a long distance relationship work. We have Internet, phones, and even free phone service when you use Skype. Also, even though its very expensive to travel around all the time, it is cheaper than it used to be. Not mentioning, that the invetion of planes is quite new... You should make sure you talk a lot and exchange adventrues. Also, it is a good idea to keep sending old fashioned post cards and small parcels, you can spray your perfum on it, and so the relationship can get the feeling of a less online thing. You should make sure to save enough money so you can visit each as often as possible, and maintain a good conversation at all times. Think about everything that you do, and figure out what converations you can have about those things. The most problems you can have are because of a lack of interest in the conversations, and this due to the fact that basically each one of you is living their own lives, with their own people, friends, enviornment etc. If you truly love each other- you will make it.

You guys are so lucky to have a successful long distance relationship. Congratulations! Very jealous! I still believe it is the love that makes the world go around. And it is still the love that keeps online dating alive, successful and romantic. I met one 3 yrs via internet ago, he was in Australia and i was in Philippine. Initially, we fell in love in half year. That period was so sweet and lovely. And he promised me to come to visit me once he graduated. But he broke his promise. But I didn't care, I thought I could go there. But when I found he often ignored me, I know he maybe had girlfriend. Absolutely, he did. After I questioned him and extended my wishes to them, I was offline and then wept....

It is something I don't recommend if you've never done it before.Look at your past relationships, and see why they wouldn't or didn't work and ask yourself if this would help or harm your relationship. Being away does not always make the heart grow fonder.Think about the cost and the lonley times you will have,whether there is jealousy in the relationship already,and if you seriously want it to succeed, you will have to work at it at least double what a local relationship would be.Only you two will be able to answer these questions.
