I do what I do cause I believe!!!

It's really hard to keep a long distance relationship I've never been in one. I know what your thinking "how would i know".Thats why Inever date guys that far away from me cause you never get to see them.I don't get to see my boyfriend but every 3-5 months but thats not cause we are long distance thats cause my moms strict and we have been dating for over a year now and our relationship is pretty deep. But my point is that even though your loved one is far away from you, if both of you really love each other alot and dont want to lose each other then you would stay together thats all it could be!!!Hope you find the anser, best of luck!!!

Dear louella,

I do know that some long distance relationships work just fine.  It depends on the 2 people and their commitment to each other.  Sometimes couples have to live away from one another due to their job or family issues.  Life brings us all kinds of challenges.  Depending on how well we communicate with our partner and how well our partner communicates with us, long distance can either "make" or "break" a relationship.  It all boils down to how determined both partners are in making the relationship work.  For some couples, absence makes the heart grow fonder.  You may discover things about yourself while living in a separate location from your partner.  It can be a real growing experience.  I hope this helps answer your question.  Good luck!

I think that one of the most essential parts of being in a healthy relationships is open communication. As long as you have access to a phone or internet, where you could chat or talk on skype, you should be ok. One of the things that I have found is missing when you are long distance is sharing the events of your day so you can really be a part of one another's lives. If you have time to chat with one another and make it a daily routine of sharing even the most mundane details, I think it helps to lessen the distance.

It can work, if you have trust.  I had a long distance relationship with my husband for 4 months. it was hard no doubt but worth it in the end.

I believe that it depends on the person and how much yall love and trust each other. If there is a lot of love and trust then i think it can last but without that it wont last long cuz trust me when i tell you trust will become a factor.

Nurses are compassion in lab coats and medical scrubs .

I believe that you need two things at least to mkae it work.  First is trust.  You gotta trust your partner because without that it just won't work.  The second thing is communication, a good one.  Being informed of what he is busy with and stuff like that would keep your mind from wondering whether your partner is cheating or whatnot.
