I need to agree with Firany on this one. Avast! is one of the most comprehensive and useful antivirus programs on the web. Best of all, it actually is free to scan and remove, unlike many other self-proclaimed "free" programs that scan for free but make you pay to remove to malware.

I have a friend who is an MCSE and he swears by AVG as well.

AOL has free virus protection. aol.com download the browser its free.
