Today you could practically insure anything. As a mid class American what are the things I must get insured and what I shouldn't?
The basic rule of thumb when considering insurance is you insure what you cant afford to loose.
If you have a TV that cost more than an analog TV, you're screwed on the insurance, they do not provide enough coverage to cover replacement of a TV that cost's over $1,000.00 so keep that in mind as well. Cover your electronics, Paintings, Lifelong photo's and keepsakes (Give them a value, but discuss this with your insurance agent) and like the previous post, anything you can't afford to loose or replace.
