Well....if you're talking 'tuning heads', I recommend buying a complete set of tuning heads with locking nut.  I have a an American Deluxe Stratocaster which comes with the locking nut and it's awesome.  These days, ANY electric guitar I purchase has to have locking nuts....it's the way to go.

You have to be more specific on what you are talking about.  Do you mean tuning keys?  I don't know what kind of guitar this is,  is it an acoustic?  a folk?  A solid body electric?   More info is needed to answer.

this is a solid body electric...im talking about the nut of the guitar....im trying to figure out how to install the locking version onto the neck of the guitar since it did not have one before...

option 1:get a new neck online without the nut on yet and just install it by drilling it to the neck oprion 2: take out the old nut"use plyers to take it out cause its glued in "then get a piece of wood the same shaper of the the place you took the old nut out and glue that in then just drill in the lock nut .... i did this the my epiphone explorer... i hope this helped you =]

i have been wondering the same thing but i need more info beings im  new at this whole thing.
