It's possible that your body just isn't relaxing enough to fall into a deep sleep. First, I would try maybe a hot bath before bed and I would try reading until you fall asleep. Sometimes when you fall asleep as opposed to forcing yourself to go to bed, you sleep much better. Other than these ideas, you could be suffering from a form of insomnia, and it could be very helpful to go to the doctor and see what they say. Good luck.
