If the story is the Tubuco story, then the gold never left Mexico, the gold was buried just outside of Parral in Mexico, which is where most of the serious hunters are looking for it. You can find evidence that the gold never left Mexico by reading the diary of Senor Alberti Terrazas housed in the library at Parral. The gold was to be sold to the USA but no one trusted the Government and so the deal was never completed.

Yes the Tubuco story, I have not heard the story of it being outside of Parral.

This is all new to me I will check Senor Alberti Terrazas diary. i I knew that Tubuco wanted to bring the gold to the USA to sell when the price of gold went up. All the stories we have here is that he brought it here, and put it somewhere in New Mexico. You do have my interest. If you would care to tell me more of what you know, I would like to read it. May I ask are you searching for it. If you want you can email me at C15Stars@aol.com  or we can talk here. Thanks
