Are indian citizens allowed to work in korea as ESL teacher....

Hi! my name is Yogesh Kumar Das and I am an Indian citizen, my question is that are we Indians allowed to work in korea as an English teacher with Graduate degree and home tutor experience for 18 months and also 5years experience as a sales manager in an small Electronics firm.though i have applied for many ESLjobs but no response from any.Can you help me to find a teaching job in korea..Thank you!!!My email address is "yyoen_09@yahoo.com"

If English is your first language and you have Bachelor's degree or higher, then yes.  That is the requirement for the ESL position which is listed at the following website:

<> But whatever ESL program you choose, you will need a work permit, and the length of time it takes to receive your work permit will largely depend upn the Korean Embassy or Consulate of which you need to apply to in your home country as they CANNOT be applied for from within South Korea. I would suggest contacting your local Korean Embassy or Consulate to be certain of the time frame required.  Nonetheless, the company you choose will prepare all the paperwork for you, and then you need to submit this paperwork to your local Korean Embassy or Consulate in India.  Good luck!
