Very important!!!

i have avalanche 2005 1500... i have removed the catalyst converter succefully, but the (check engine) light came on...i dont want to re-programe the ECU...is putting High-flow Cat solve the problem????...or just buying O2 simulator And plug it in?? note : i want the O2 senser to work properly!!!!

I'm assuming that you have an O2 before and after the cat.  If you install a high flow cat it may not satisfy your computer.  If the O2 sensor doesn't read the gases it's suppose to it will keep popping the check engine light.  I don't think reprogramming the computer will work either.  There will be no manufacture code that will let you bypass emission standards.  I would do the O2 simulator.
