My name's Nick, I'm 16 and I'm a pupil. This year I am doing a research and I am interested in you to share your opinion about London with me.
The topic of my project is the influence on London by immigrants and people of different nationalities. So, in other words, I'm trying to examine the impact the immigrants make to the capital of Britain.
Apparently people of different nationalities change the city somehow. For example, mosques are built in London because of Muslims , the Chinese have brought their traditional cuisine to the city and so on. To cut the long story short, the appearance of the city and the way of life Londoners live are changed to some extent.
I've never been to London myself and it isn't straightforward for me to understand and imagine how the different communities get to live in the city and how they influece London. So I'm hoping you tell me what impact immigrants make to the city. Moreover if you can, reply how your own view about the city changed after you travelled to London(maybe it didn't live up to your expectations or you found out something you had not expected before). Certainly, I'm interested in your opinion on non-British people in London.
