Can two illegal immigrants who have children who are USA citizens divorce.  will they be deported if they try to get a divorce

I don't know the answer to your question but here's my opinion. First of all the children of illegals, IMO, are not legally citizens of this country. They are only considered US citizens due to an egregious misinterpretation of the fourteenth amendment to our Constitution. As to the divorce question, one would only hope the illegals would be deported when they attempt, through our court system, to obtain a divorce and their illegality is discovered! And to the deportation I say, Bon Voyage and don't forget your kids when you leave. LOL!

Everybody has lawful access to US courts, it is not important what is your status in this country, you cannot be deported because you divorced.

I would suggest you contact the appropriate authorities of your state or even an attorney.  I would not think you would have any problems, but if you have a criminal background who is to say they will not report it to immigration.
